I know. It’s literally the END of January so why am I doing this post now?

Simple.

About 5 years ago I realize that as a mom, wife, business owner, and a human who enjoyed all of the glorious chaos that is our October to December, my January was a time for respite. A time to exhale and find stillness. January allows me to decompress and set goals for the year ahead and to reflect back to the abundance of joy the year gifted me.

With this intentional pause, I am so excited to share the culmination of 2023: The Superlatives

Best session light.

Golden hour is always glorious and always the right choice. Deciding from hundreds of images was hard, I won’t lie.

Best if they ever form a band and need an album cover.

From a group of my most favorite senior guys to one of most beloved families, the album cover theme was on point!

Despite not being on your payroll or contributing to the income stream, we know our four-legged co-workers are really members of our team.

Best Moment(s) in Motherhood

This one was tough and I’ll be honest, I almost left it totally out because of my inability to decide. So much of my work revolves around the beauty that is motherhood and what that means in each season.

Best Frolic in the Leaves

Texas is unique in that our fall is slow to roll in… usually in time for us to trim the Christmas tree and hand the stockings! Thankfully the joy of even a smallish pile brings out the joy in all of us!

Best moments of family togetherness

Every year I get to be a part of the most amazing families and what I do feeds my soul, passion, and reiterates the importance of time.
