This lovely mom and I met a few years ago at a birthday party (at one of those hoppy houses that make any breathing mammal have an anxiety attack… No?  Just me then?)  We had a few mutual friends and the ‘you two should meet, you both have 4 kids’ introduction was made.  Let me tell you, I just knew this mom was going to be more than a casual mom-friend that I would see at class parties and choir concerts.  She is now one of those I am closest too.  We sort of share a brain… or in the very least need to share a data plan.  When I was asked to take their family pictures, I was truly honored!

Their family session was perfection!

Kiddos that love their mom and dad like nothing else.  Parents that adore their children, and each other.  Gorgeous light on a Texas fall morning.  And that feeling of home; of comfort and belonging.  The Hight Family is absolutely lovely to photograph but their real beauty is their connection as a family.  Oh, and they have some great some personalities too 😉
