As a native Floridian, the beach is absolutely in my DNA and I am a strong believer in vitamin sea being good for the soul. Austin, where I now call home, doesn’t boast sandy shores that your toes can wiggle in or ocean breezes that linger in your lungs. Don’t get me wrong, the lakes and variety of tacos and barbecue keep us satisfied; it’s just not the same. When I realized our Spring Break trip back to the Sunshine State would align perfectly with when I love to take maternity clients, I jumped at the chance to have a sunset beach maternity session. The fact my amazing clients were family made it even more special.

While the location is not typical to my Austin area sessions, the approach absolutely was. As I’ve said before, the where is never as important as your who & why… but this time the picturesque where really played an important role.
